The Spiritualist bar and restaurant opened in March 2016, immediately capturing people’s attentions with its elegant décor, creative menus and unrivalled drinks offering – our gantry boasts 320 spirits and liqueurs!

The brainchild of renowned bar and restaurant operator Ryan Barrie and Jim Ballantyne, The Spiritualist has already earned its reputation as one of Glasgow’s most stylish bar and restaurants.

An exclusive partnership with specialist distributor Hot Sauce means we can offer some of the world’s most prized drinks; while our Executive Chef Mark Stocks has created mouth-watering menus that are both fantastic and fairly priced.

You’ll find us at 62 Miller Street – once the home of the famous Stirling’s Library and now extensively restored and revived. We look forward to welcoming you!

In the kitchen, Executive Chef Mark Stocks leads a talented team of chefs who are passionate about using the very best seasonal local Scottish produce. Whether it’s breakfast, dinner or snacks at the bar, their enthusiasm, skill and creativity radiates from the menu.

Amid décor that marries art deco style with contemporary elegance, we’ve created a bar and restaurant that is, quite simply, beautiful. Our gantry, with about 320 spirits on display, is a work of art.

Behind the bar we have an extensive selection of malt whiskies as well as some of Scotland’s best craft gins, including Harris, Rock Rose and Pickering’s. Our reach goes far beyond these shores though: we also offer some of the world’s most prized drinks, from Louis XIII cognac to exclusive and rare tequilas and liqueurs.

Our beer list, sourced through a partnership with the Craft Beer Clan of Scotland, includes the likes of award-winning Fyne Ales, and Loch Ness and Inveralmond breweries. We also have Peroni, Williams Brothers and Belhaven on draught. Our superb wine list has been curated by the oenophile Guy Chatfield.
